02 · How it works

Four steps to your first order abroad.

  1. We review your range

Send us your XML feed link or online store address. We tell you which products have a chance on which marketplace, and which don’t.

  2. We agree the terms

We put prices, minimum prices, shipping and settlement in writing.

  3. We connect our systems

API is ideal: product data comes to us, and orders go straight into your online store. An XML feed works too. Either way, prices and stock update on their own. We translate, adapt to local search and publish your offers.

  4. We sell and settle

With every order we send you the shipping label and book the courier. We look after the customer and settle with you as agreed.

03 · Markets

Three marketplaces, eight target countries.

We choose marketplaces and countries to fit your range, not the other way round. Not every product sells everywhere, and we tell you that up front.

Founded in Poland

Allegro

Poland’s largest online marketplace, now selling in four countries with one offer for all of them.

  • Poland
  • Czechia
  • Slovakia
  • Hungary

Founded in Romania

eMAG

Started in Romania and now reaches customers in three countries, with cross-border selling run from one system.

  • Romania
  • Bulgaria
  • Hungary

Founded in Hungary

Pepita

A Hungarian marketplace selling in eight countries, from the German-speaking markets to the Balkans.

  • Hungary
  • Slovakia
  • Poland
  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Romania
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia

Country lists are based on each marketplace’s public information and can differ by product category.

04 · Packaging regulation

Since PPWR, packaging needs its own paperwork.

The EU’s new packaging regulation ((EU) 2025/40) applies directly in every member state. If you sell abroad, you now have to account for the packaging as well as the product.

12 August 2026is when the regulation started to apply across the EU.
  • Registration country by country

If you ship packaged goods to customers in another member state, you generally need to register for packaging EPR there, and often appoint a local authorised representative.

  • Reporting and fees

Packaging placed on the market must be reported by material and weight, and fees paid on it. Germany and France also run their own national systems.

  • Stricter packaging

Packaging must be reduced to what is necessary, and shipping boxes will later face a cap on empty space.

What this means with us

Where sales run under our name, registration, reporting and fees in the destination country are our job. We only ask you for the packaging material and weight of each product. If you also sell abroad under your own name, we help you map out what you need to do.

For information only, not legal advice. Implementing rules and some deadlines may still change, so we always look at your situation individually.

05 · Who it’s for

We should talk if you are…

  • a manufacturer, with products proven at home but no sales channel abroad.
  • a wholesaler, with many SKUs and live stock that deserve more markets.
  • an importer, with brands that can sell in other countries of the region.
  • an online store, with your products already available as an XML feed or via API.
When we don’t recommend it

If the product’s margin can’t carry marketplace commission and international shipping. We work this out in the first review and tell you honestly.

06 · Questions

What most people ask.

Whose name are the sales under?

Ours. Products sell on our marketplace accounts under Trade Horizon Kft. You don’t need to open foreign accounts or sign with the marketplaces.

What does it cost?

Terms are agreed in writing once we know your range and target markets. The first review is free and non-binding.

How does the parcel reach the customer?

Parcels always leave from your warehouse. For every order we send you a ready-made shipping label: print it, stick it on the parcel and hand it to the courier, whom we also book to your door. No freight to arrange, and no contract with a foreign carrier.

How does product data reach you?

We always connect our systems. API is ideal, because we can then place orders directly in your online store and you process them like domestic ones. An XML feed works too; in that case we notify you of orders separately. Either way, prices and stock update continuously without manual work. The feed needs SKU, EAN, name, description, images, price and stock, and because of PPWR, packaging material and weight too.

Can I see how my products sell?

Yes. We send regular reports on orders and returns, and you can ask about any product at any time.

What if something doesn’t sell?

We check whether price, listing or market is the problem and change it. If it isn’t worth it, we say so and take the offer down.

Let’s start with a product list.

Tell us what you sell, and in a short call we’ll tell you where we see a market for it. The first review is free and non-binding.
